About Us

Pet Minders offers pet sitting services in Lawrence. 

Leslie has been working with dogs since 2003.  She has 2 miniature poodles, Sara and Georgie, and 1 toy poodle, Charlie.  For two years she apprenticed & taught dog obedience classes with the Lawrence Jayhawk Kennel Club and the Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department.  She completed the Pet First Aid & CPR class given by the American Red Cross in June 2007.  She became an official Accredited Pet Sitter of Pet Sitters International in February 2008.

Savannah joined Pet Minders in March 2008.  She has had numerous pets since her early childhood, and has never lived without a dog. Currently she owns 2 dogs: a boxer mix named Kush, and a basset hound mix named Chico. In March 2009 she started her own poop-scooping business, “Pearce’s Pet Waste Removal”.

Whittney joined Pet Minders in March 2009.  She grew up taking care of small cage animals, reptiles & fish, as well as cats & dogs.  Currently she owns a French Bulldog named Remy that she successfully completed the AKC Canine Good Citizen certification with.  She is interested in learning new training techniques with her dog with an eye towards service work.  You might find her at the dog park below the dam.
